Very disappointed in this property. Room was dirty (e.g. dirty walls near light switches, bathroom ceiling fan covered in dirt / dust, stained seat cushion on chair which I covered with a towel). The hotplate was old and stained. We washed all dishes before using them. The main room was spacious but only had a small table and 2 mismatched wood chairs. There was no sofa or comfortable chair to sit in.

We love the location of this hotel. Clean room, really nice dual shower However, it wasn't clear to us that we weren't getting an ocean view (we booked through Expedia). 3 issues that affected our stay that brought our ratung down: -TV didn't work (we weren't here to waych tv anyway though). - mini fridge was SO loud it kept me awake all night - no screens on the windows so we couldn't let fresh air in

No hot water . Power fail ,even only use microwave or one hot plant . Hairdryer not working . We can not take shower . Not a happy time staying here. We asked for staff help. Staff is good . He iis trying to help ,.we waited. He offers we can move to other room ,,but so late already .we all went to bed... We asked for our money back . The staff told us the manager is not replying yet . I sent massage to oceanside villas. Waiting for replying. Hopefully, someone can review this problems And fix the problems.

This was my third stay at Oceanside Villa and I will definitely be back again. The room is more like a bachelor apartment with a kitchenette that has a full size fridge/freezer, a microwave, coffee maker, a hot plate and plenty of dishes and cutlery. There are multiple windows that open to let in the fresh air coming in off the ocean and your own little patio to sit on and watch the sun set. It is easy walking distance to the neighboring Oceanview Hotel’s restaurant, the Gourmet Girl Bistro, and the Wobbly Canoe pub. I personally love the bistro for breakfast (love the Pier 17 breakfast bowl!) and their delish baked goods. The village of Sechelt is just a ten minute drive up the road or there’s a bus with a stop nearby. The staff at Oceanview are always friendly, professional and accommodating, going out of their way to get me into the same villa as the last two stays and extending my stay by two days without any problems. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
