Beautiful room looking out over the sea. Confortable room all 5 star.
Breakfast fine.
it was a shame the entrance and hall ways were so dark and uninviting. and that the dining room did not come up to the same standard as the lovely bedroom.

Thank you for your stay and review it was such a shame that we had scaffolding erected at the front and side elevation of the house and over our entrance doorway restricting the day light entering the house during your stay. Fortunately the room that you stayed in at the front of the house with its prominent bay window was not affected by the scaffolding allowing you to have the full experience of its spectacular view.
Thankfully the scaffolding is being removed next week commencing the 16th March 2020 opening up the atmosphere of our Victorian house with it's wonderful original stairway and features that you would expect in a property of this period dating back to 1850. Our guests always refer to its character, charm and the wonderful ambience of the dinning room with its original features and elevated sea view across Lyme Bay.
The installation of the scaffolding with four working platforms has been required to maintain and preserve the exterior of the property which is one of three historical Iconic buildings on the sea front within the preservation area of Seaton on the base of Castle Hill, and is featured on many Photographs and media filming. This work has been carried out over the winter period during which time we experienced the storms that spread across the country which didn't make this renovation any easier. We can't wait for the scaffolding to disappear next week and the onset of spring and summer to experience the nice sunny weather again which always high lights the properties stunning position. Upon arrival we had the warmest of welcomes of the proprietors Gill and David. The sea view from our room was brilliant and the room along with the rest of the property was well decorated and exceptionally clean throughout.
We had a wide choice for breakfast which was beautifully cooked and enjoyed in the breakfast room overlooking the sea.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay as a result we cannot recommend the Beaumont Guest House Highly enough.

Relaxation by the seashore
Posted 13 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay at Beaumont. Our hosts Gill and Dave made sure our stay was as nice as it could be. They are very knowledgeable about the area and can recommend sights to go see depending on your interests. The location is perfect and just steps from the esplanade and shoreline. We really enjoyed our morning and evening walks. It is quiet and not crowded. The breakfast in the morning is cooked to order, hot and fresh. Our room was very comfortable and the ocean view and breezes were just what we needed.

Fabulous b&b
Posted 10 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this b&b. Gill and Dave run a spotless, comfortable and friendly guesthouse with close attention to detail ...and the breakfasts are superb!
Parking is on a large drive, which can mean there is car juggling about to get out (or to enable others to get out) but we mostly used the free parking a minute’s walk away which (apart from one occasion, when we used the drive) was free each evening we went to park.
Splendid place and we’ll definitely be back ☺️☺️

A fabulous first stay
Posted 12 Jul 2019 on HotelsWe had 4 superb nights here. Our room (3) had a sea view and was roomy and spotless.
Breakfast was awesome. Fruit salad that was out of this world and very fresh! Plenty of choice of cereals, toast (inc gluten free), cooked options, juice and coffee/tea.
We were 2 minutes walk from the beach and there were loads of choices to eat in the evening.
Gill and Dave are a lovely couple and we would recommend a stay here to anyone.
