Have no bad comments because I only used this place for sleep. But it was good. I probably will stay in next time.

The a/c was so noisy that you couldn’t even have it on. The toilet seat was so wobbly it felt as if you were going to fall off it. It smells so awful around the property. Homeless population likes to linger around the property. Definitely could use a good cleaning as well. Dusty and moldy should describe it properly. The bed was lumpy and there were someone else’s hair in the sheets so obviously the sheets were not changed. Luckily I always travel with a pillow and a blanket. Would not recommend and will not stay here again.

Terrible property. They ask for a deposit they don’t plan on giving back. Old fart at the desk tried pocketing my extra 6$ and refused to give me my cash back when I informed him I’m not staying at his roach motel. I had to call the police to collect my cash and I was still charged for the first night. Rude terrible staff. He also wanders around the grounds so when you show up he'll be following right behind you, in and out of the office like a creep.

The staff wasn't the friendliest. I like to be welcomed. No amenities ... had a coffee maker. This motel is more for constuction workers needing a place to stay. Definitely not for vacationers. THE WORST WAS THE BEDS! MY WIFE, WHO IS SLIGHTLY DISABLED SPENT TWO NIGHTS MISERABLE AS THE MATTRESSES MAY AS WELL BEEN A SHEET OF PLYWOOD. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

The front desk man (owner) was a bit surly, as if he was doing me a favor to allow me to pay to stay there.
This is a really basic motel, crowded, no amenities, on a noisy street. That would be okay if not paying Monterey rates. Yet, there was nothing terrible, and everything worked.
