The beds were really comfortable, I wanted to take one home! The showers are nice, probably recently remodeled.

The room was clean but small. No dresser so no drawers to put clothes in. No closet. Just narrow shelves to put things on. It would be hard to stay in this room for more than a day or two. I was by myself so maybe other rooms are bigger and have more furniture. The "grounds" are pretty scraggly. Clearly some years ago they had some good ideas about the grounds, but maybe the pandemic hit them hard. The immediate area is unimpressive, a strip mall across the street. But literally on the same block, right next to the motel, is the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in. And of course, convenient to the ocean and Monterey.

The motel is in the middle of town so you have easy access to grocery stores and gas stations. There is a recycling center right by it and it opens at 8am so you cant even sleep in. The beds are very very uncomfortable very hard and squeaky metal. The walls are so thin you can hear the conversations next door. If the motel is sold out there is no parking available. There is construction being done so it is extremely loud. Our key was giving us issues from the first night turned out that the battery on the door was low so they had to come in the middle of the night and replace it.

The worst hotel I have ever been to did not stay because of condition of the hotel left did not get a refund staff was extremely rude very disrespectful a filthy disgusting hotel.

Was a great place for a quick overnight sleep. A little noisy in the late hours however we didn’t notice any homeless people around. Would rate higher but we lost a pair of earphones there. And even though we knew exactly where they were we were told on the phone that someone else already called and they already looked. This was impossible as we were the only ones who could have called and we had not.
