"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However, very noisy floor boards in our room were really quite annoying. The sound insulation between adjacent rooms could be improved. The breakfast was generally fine, although a couple of items were over cooked & inedible. Service for dinner was very slow."

"Avril offered us a real bed and breakfast experience, meaning we felt like we were invited to stay the night in her home. We had a long interesting chat in the morning. If people want more of a "quick-and-easy" hotel experience, perhaps this is not the place for you. The room was beautiful with view on the sea, the house was very nice: we felt like the time had stopped for a bit which is exactly what we were looking for. Many thanks Avril for making our stay so enjoyable. "
