Excellent value hotel, friendly staff and good sized rooms. Pool , sauna and steam room is nice and the location excellent. Bear in mind the entrance is hidden away through the car park. Pillows were hard, which was a shame as overall the experience was excellent otherwise.

I didn't like being asked to pay twice because I could not prove payment, then not getting an immediate refund, then receiving no reply from my email and then being told it will be resolved on the Monday It is now Monday; still no reply on my email

Pretty food for the price. Wifi was pretty bad. But very clean.

Parking was a problem. If you're trying to check in around 4/5pm then you will not be able to park as the gym membership people flood the car park. The staff were lovely, so no complaints. Great location if you're running the great north run although they will hike the prices. I had the pizza in the evening, I would not recommend. It tasted like a frozen pizza. A suggestion would be, if you're hiking your prices for the great north run at least provide a different menu with a more quality higher energy cleaner based menu.

I loved it all except the sound of the sea maybe next time il change rooms
