Gorgeous historic location. Wonderful hotel.

Pros: Everything. The food was also fantastic.
Cons: Nothing.
This is a wonderful place. The village is just amazing with superb views over the mountains and amazing architectural features. The interiors of the hotel are a wonderful mixture of old original features and added modern touches to ensure comfort. The food in the restaurant is also very good. It’s a hotel which has been in the same family for years and years and this really adds to the experience. Highly recommended.

Swiss Mountain Perfecton!
Posted 16 May 2017 on HotelsWhat a perfect hotel! It's quaint, pristine, romantic, perfectly situated overlooking amazing mountains and has a fabulous restaurant. It's a Swiss Boutique hotel with wonderful staff who helped us with basics like understanding the menu to recommending fantastic hikes in the immediate area and it's surroundings. A truly memorable hotel off the beaten track. We plan on returning someday and highly recommend.

Excellent hotel with great rooms and dining
Posted 2 Mar 2017We stayed for 4 days to ski in nearby Scuol. The hotel is in pristine condition and the rooms are large, newly renovated and have all the amenities you need. The included breakfast was fantastic and the owner and staff are friendly and very helpful! We will be back next year!

Wonderful time in Guarda
Posted 8 Jun 2016 on HotelsWonderful location with prime hiking and biking trails. The owner couple Meisser prepare exclusive dinners every night and will personally greet and serve the most delicious local foods. Views of surrounding mountains are stunning. It is pricy but a trip you won't forget.

Cool Place
Posted 12 Aug 2012 on HotelsThis is very nice hotel and a cute little village. The staff was great and the room was very nice. We thought the dinning room was overpriced and there wasn't many other choices for a meal.

Hidden Gem
Posted 31 Jan 2011A charming hotel in the beautiful and historic village of Guarda.
Traditional rustic ambience. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a little small, due to the confines of the historic building, and it would be worth opting for the larger rooms. The outlook is tremendous however.
Terrific food in a lovely setting and it is well worth taking the half board option.

Great spot, but service could be improved
Posted 19 Aug 2009Guarda is a lovely spot and so is the hotel. We had a great view from our room, even it said there was no special view. However the service both in the restaurant and hotel could be improved.
