Property is VERY dated- was in it's prime in early 1980's. Rooms are run down, things are broken & the entire place smells moldy. Watched a dog peeing on a door in in hallway, kids running around at 2:00AM wont stay there again.

Pool was closed for renovation for a long time, no one told us. Spa had closed as well for same, no one told us before hand. Out door bar was closed. No out-door stuff open. Bedsheets weren’t clean as new. Room had limited facilities. Had poor experience.

We had a block of 15 rooms. Every staff member, food service personnel, and bar tender went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The pizza in the bar was great, especially the buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza chef was super cool, took a lot of pride in his work, and delivered hot artisanal pizzas. We met great people from all over the U.S. in the bar. We had a lot of fun spending time with them. Hotel guests were courteous. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Nice listening to the creek from the room. There are a few areas of the hotel that could use repair or updating but they did not adversely impact our stay. You get here exactly what you pay for. If you want an older laid back resort to relax, have some good food and drinks, and hang out with some nice people, this is a great place for you. If you want perfection and to be pampered, go check in at the Ritz Carlton. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you to the staff of the Woodlands Inn for a wonderful time! Thank you also to all the guests we met who were kind and generous and made our stay even more fun.

Expedia advertised a tub...not shower....to me tub meant one for bubble bath...soaking..Woodlands had to accommodate me with another room which had a WHIRL POOL bath and walk in shower

Stay in pet friendly rooms about 4times a year . The convenience of the sliding doors right to pet pathway is genius (where most places you have to walk penthouse hotel to get outdoors ). The hardwood floor option works best for pet hotels as I have a hypoallergenic dog and anytime I’ve stayed anywhere else (carpets) has been an issue. Reasonable pricing
