"It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"The beach is nice and clean but the hotel close it for guest use from 8 pm to 7 am The property condition is poor - broken tile, outdated furniture, broken bathroom fixtures, no safe in the room, etc. At arrival I had to wait one hour before they check in a large group of guests. "Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "Staying at Villa Pulejo is a unique experience in like staying in a historical masterpiece. The facilities were modernized but you can still visualize the grandeur this mansion was built for. Walking around the grounds we found treasures like the centuries old magnolia trees, meticulously kept garden and the original horse stable. Staff went above and beyond without smothering you. Fruits came from groves on property. We will cherish memories made during our 9 days stay. "

"The room itself was okay, if very bare, and there was no information about anything. Although there was a fridge for our use (and some bottled water provided) there was no kettle and no access to the kitchen until breakfast time the next day, so we couldn't make tea. We were admitted to the building when we arrived, but not welcomed. Reception desk was unstaffed, nobody around to greet us or give us any information. The building looked quite neglected. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good."
