Room lacked some basic amenities and there wasn’t hot water for 2 days. Host wasn’t available and didn’t provide much information or welcoming

Good Value for Location
Posted 2 Oct 2021 on HotelsThis hotel is a good value for its location. The only thing I would recommend to the management is an upgrade of the mattress in the room. There was nothing wrong with it but we prefer the newer foam mattresses. We intend to stay at this Le Piccole Grotte again.

Please note I fully understand that this is not a 5 star resort.. Not properly stocked with towels or toilet paper. Air conditioner did not work properly. Sheets are clean and nice - Bedding cover is very old, worn and faded. Same with the furniture in the room.

The view is worth the walk
Posted 11 Sep 2017Scilla is an amazing town and the Picollo Grotto was perfect for experiencing old Italy. All the amenities and all the charm.
