Very basic. No service and public areas not clean

Pros: Nothing really - it served a purpose only. No English spoken.
Cons: Poor welcome. Had to check in at a smokey bar. Had to ask for the Internet code and the mother could not help us as that is her son's role. The son was unavailable and we returned for this later in the day. The son was confused as to how long we were staying but did assist - our persistence was only because we could speak German.
Breakfast was basic but acceptable, however the tables did not seem to have been wiped - the same pile of sugar was on one table for two days. The dining room floor was unswept.
We booked this hotel because we thought from the address that it was relatively central but it is in an out skirt and two miles to town and a restaurant. You really need to check out the surrounding facilities.
Location: Lots to do in the area of historic German palaces etc. Also some good walking in the area if the weather is good.

We arrived here and we had reserved 2 rooms. They only had 1 room available and asked one of us to stay in the house next door. Also it was very smokey in the entrance hall. To split the party was not suitable so we did not stay there.

Location: Heidelberg, Schwetzingen.. are 3-8 km !
Clean room
English speaking tenants
Breakfast is not exceptional but 7euros, it's ok..
In a calm area with self access.. you get the best for this cost in the area !

Good Location
Posted 29 Jul 2013 on HotelsFirst the address was slighly misleading. The PostCode was wrong (69117) and it should have been 68723, so I was in Heidelberg looking for the pension. I did not get Wi-Fi for the duration of the stay, eventhough I tried calling the hotel number (+4962024524), but the person that answered did not understand my request. It is a nice clean pension, comfortable and accesible to Schwetzingen. Rate per night was good, quiet and comfortable. Nice Pizzeria next door with good food and cheap prices.
