Beautiful Hotel Stay
Posted 19 Aug 2024 on HotelsWe loved staying in your lovely hotel. Our room was perfect. We had the room that had two separate bedrooms and it worked out great. Breakfast was good too! Thank you for a lovely time!

Friendly hotel
Posted 27 Apr 2019 on HotelsFriendly hotel - with some nice do-it-yourself-we-trust-you features as there is not staff available at all times.
City center is within a nice walking distance.

Quick stop in Schwerin
Posted 12 May 2018 on HotelsGreat location and good service. Only the breakfast could have been better as the choice was very poor.

Would stay here again
Posted 13 Sep 2017 on HotelsNice clean hotel in an old building. Room we has was spacious with a private bath. Breakfast well worth the price. Great location, walking distance to city center and the castle.

Lovely Avalon
Posted 22 Oct 2015 on HotelsThis is a family owned/ managed hotel an old building from probably the early to mid 1900's, reconstructed back to life as a hotel with few suites. It does not have any elevators and the hallway floor boards creeks as you walk on them...the sound of the floor actually adds to the character of the place.
Wifi is iffy at times. Location is a close 5 minute walk to Schwerin central train station & walking distance to a lot of the sites in the city. Breakfast offers variety of selection & well thought of. My sister & I enjoyed our stay here, nothing fancy, but a good place to rest & sleep in.

Beautiful hotel, great location, great service
Posted 9 Sep 2015 on HotelsWe had a lovely stay in this hotel located just a few minutes walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from the castle. We arrived early and they stored our luggage while we visited the castle. After walking back to the hotel in the rain we were quite wet and they brought coffee and tea to our room. The staff spoke very little English but we were still able to communicate with them and the service was great. Note that this hotel is in a restored home, so while it is beautiful, there is no elevator.
