The hotel crew was very nice and kind and the room was very spacious. However, the bedroom pillows and sheets smelled bad and were heavy utilized (need to be replaced). Also, in our room the wifi connection was out of reach and the heater was broken.

In der Internetverbindung lag eine Störung vor, die nun durch einen Techniker behoben wurde. Die Heizungsanlage wird durch "Aussensensoren" gesteuert. Da die Temperatur momentan noch nicht kalt genug ist, schaltet sich die Heizung nicht ein. Auf Anfrage hätten wir Ihnen gerne wärmere Betten zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, Sie noch einmal als Gäste in unserem Hause begrüßen zu dürfen. Herzliche Grüße von den Nordlichtern

Nice place close to the seaside. This hotel offers great views of the sea and lake. Loved the little gym and the green forest that surrounds the hotel.

Schwerin hotel.
Posted 16 Aug 2018 on HotelsStaff was very nice. Location was good for us. Everything else was OK, but nothing impressive on any front. The place was clean, food was OK. I guess I had just hoped for a little bit more. I will say, the music drove me crazy each morning at breakfast. Hard to listen to an Eric Clapton song done in Polka.

Great little hotel

Pros: Small at a great location
Cons: Elevator is needed to take luggage to upper floors
Location: Perfect location, near lake and city center
Great hotel, in a great location. Easy short walk to center of town. Only draw back there is no elevator which can be an issue with heavy luggage.

Decent cheap hotel close to old town

Pros: proximity to old town and price
I booked a room with a single bed for one night. The room was clean and had the minimum. No body soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The towels were a bit rough, but they did the job. It's an old building and you can hear easily what's happening in the hall, so your experience might differ from mine, but while I was there other guess were respectful and I had no problem sleeping. Booking was rapid and the lady was courteous and could speak English. Overall, a good place for one or a few days to visit the city.
