Beautiful hotel, room was amazingly clean, solid fixtures. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was waiting for us the next morning and it was incredible, the best breakfast I’d had after 2 weeks travelling round the continent.

Hidden Gem - stay nowhere else!

Pros: Everything - the people who run is place are the best people ever.
After a hard day sight seeing at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, having the good fortune to stay here has been one of the best parts of our 5 weeks European adventure. The couple that run this hotel are some of the most hospitable, accomodating and hilarious people that you will ever meet and the recent renovations are some of the best I have encountered in a smaller, boutique establishment. The room is a fantastic size, the bed so comfortable you could stay in all night and day and the bathroom was so big and spacious we took pictures to prove to friends it wasn't our imagination.
It almost didn't run to plan - we arrived a bit late to find the reception had shut. Perplexed by a mobile phone issue we had the fortune to encounter a fellow guest who advised the management ran the restaurant about 100 metres down the street called 'Grandma's Kitchen' and we could go there to sort out Check-in. This was the most fortuitous thing because while checking in, we checked out the menu and decided to return for dinner which was the best Jäger Schnitzel I have eaten ever and the two girls running the floor were the absolute best staff ever for two non-German speaking tourists.
A word of advice - do NOT leave without having breakfast. It is positively everything you would ever want in a breakfast at a ridiculously low price and a real highlight of our trip.
Will definitely come back and recommend to any one who will listen! BOOK NOW!
