Posted 12 Jun 2018 on HotelsGreat view, comfortable sized room, very nice breakfast. We didn’t ask but did not see air-conditioning in our room as advertised on hotels.com. It was a pretty warm night so tried leaving windows open and had mosquitoes, Enjoyed the hedgehogs!

Unfortunately, our house has no air conditioning in the rooms. If it's on the internet, that's a mistake and we'll remove it.

Need GPS to get here

Pros: The view over the countryside and outdoor seating at the cafe.
We stayed in a new room with a beautiful view over the valley. The temp was in the high 80's(no AC), but the room cooled off with the windows open. The food was excellent and the outdoor seating wonderful. We speak no German, the staff spoke excellent English. We had a problem at the previous hotel, we had checked out and the staff did not ask for a credit card. When we arrived at the Igelwirt we had an Email wanting our credit card#. The staff at the Igelwirt went beyond being helpful by phoning the other hotel and getting everything squared away for us. Thank you. The hotel is in a very small village they do have some signs, but we definitely needed GPS to get here.

Nach 14 Tagen nocheinmal in der selben Unterkunft. Diesmal war das Stammpersonal aus dem Urlaub zurück. Was man am Service im Restaurant und beim Frühstück gemerkt hat. Es lief nicht so chaotisch wie wor 14 Tagen. Abendessen serviert und kein Besteck. Der dazu gehörige Salat kam nach dem Essen statt dazu oder davor. Auch das Frühstück war viel besser als vor 14 Tagen. Die Aushilfe spielte nur am Handy und es war alles lieblos angerichet und von service keine Spur. Leider Ist Cappuccino zum Frühstück so immer noch so schlecht. Als wenn man die Sorte gewechselt hat. Ein guter Kaffee am Tag ist für mich wichtig und dafür war das Haus früher bekannt. Eine Rösterei aus Nürnberg war Lieferant. Vielleicht hat man die Sorten oder den Lieferanten gewechselt. Deshalb ein Mittelmässig nur. Preis /Leistung stimmt nicht mehr.
