Spotlessly clean and homely. Lovely reception staff made us feel very welcome. Really large room. albeit dated.

Pleasantly surprised old hotel creaky floorboards but rooms clean as was public areas nice breakfast good entertainment most nights staff very helpful and friendly lovely garden will go again

Nice hotel and friendly staff. The room furnishings were old and dated. Excellent location with great sights and shopping, and all walkable.

The bedroom was comfortable and clean with a good shower and lovely towels. A nicely furnished dining area and a convenient bar were welcome additions. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.
