We chose this hotel based on previous reviews and it certainly lived up to expectations. The host, Gary, was very friendly and helpful, giving information about where to go and directions, etc. It was my birthday while we were there and he gave me a lovely card, an unexpected surprise. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed and plenty of electric points, something often lacking.
Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order, delicious, fresh and hot, served on heated plates. After the first morning we had to ask for smaller portions as it was far too much for us!
It is next to the beautiful Peasholm Park and you can walk into the town area in 10 minutes. If, like me, you’re not as fit and healthy as you’d wish, there is an open-topped bus that runs every few minutes from the park to the Scarborough Spa and back, for a reasonable price.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Easter weekend away
