It is a studio rather than a cottage. The price is high regarding with the quality.

Hi Qiang. We're sorry that you felt it necessary to leave a poor review. However, we're also struggling to understand your motivation. It seems so out of step with the high percentage of returning guests we have and the positive feedback we receive every day, both directly and online. The property you booked is exactly as described on Expedia - a one-bedroom cottage - with separate living and sleeping areas generously spread over two floors. In the UK a ‘studio’ is considerably more compact (a single room with cooking facilities and attached bathroom). This may perfectly describe the three smaller studios we have on the other side of our rose-garden courtyard but not the larger two-storey cottage you chose to stay in. Even if you had misunderstood the written description, we also publish 30+ professionally-taken photos for this property on Expedia. 18 of these focus specifically on the cottage’s interior from every possible angle. That attention to detail is usually commended by our guests as portraying exactly what each of our properties look like, their layouts and the lovely setting they are in. Perhaps a hasty search for a last-minute bargain (two days prior to arrival) didn't allow enough time to fully appreciate what you were reserving?

Detailed information as to local amenities including wheelchair accessible and dog friendly pubs, local takeaways, supermarkets, farm shops, healthcare etc very useful. Appreciate each disabled person has their own individual needs but as a permanent wheelchair user of 19 years first time found accommodation really was wheelchair friendly and accessible. Shower chair was provided, two sinks in the wet room, one at either end. The provisions, bread, cake, butter, milk, jam, marmalade, biscuits, filter coffee we found on arrival were very welcome. We were made to feel welcome and if needed anything just ask, nothing would be too much trouble. Thank you Sasha and Richard.
