"I was at Daku for two nights. As a single traveler, it was very safe and convenient. The staff were amazing. There is snorkeling right across the street which is very convenient. Walking to town takes about 30 minutes and there aren’t sidewalks at points so I might recommend taking a taxi. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on site and all food was excellent. "Our recent 5 day stay at Namale Resort in Savusavu was absolutely amazing! The staff were all super attentive, professional and friendly the entire week. "Short review: We loved this resort and would book there again.
Detailed Review:
We booked this property for 10 days for our honeymoon. We were set on a tropical overwater bungalow-type property, and this had the best price and accessibility of those options.
Transportation:
Arriving here requires a connecting flight from Nadi or Suva on the smallest commercial plane you've ever been on. However, the flight is quite beautiful and quick and when you land, there is a free shuttle waiting to take you to the resort (and back when you leave). The only on-site transportation is excursions booked through the resort or a bus that costs FJD2.50 each way. Cars are only allowed for the super-nice properties with very steep driveways, I understand.
