Church bells and animal smells
Posted 18 Jul 2017This hotel is nearly flawless. Lovely couple running the place, perfectly clean, well stocked/furnished room, quaint location and excellent breakfast. Every detail carefully considered and very well executed. Now the flaw. It is located right next to a church, and the bells ring ALL.NIGHT.LONG. Every 15 min you get 1 to 12+ dongs. The room has no a/c, which normally would not be an issue as the weather is very temperate in this beautiful valley. But we could not keep the windows open due to church bells and pasture smells. Would have tolerated the later but the constant bells made sleep illusive to this light sleeper, though the rest of my fam did fine. Closed windows made the room very stuffy, but did greatly reduce the sound. The bells are not the fault of the awesome hotel owners, but it is a factor to consider. If you find church bells charming or are a heavy sleeper, I recommend this hotel 100%. About 40 min, stunning drive to Neuschwanstein.

Das Essen ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet.

Ei parempaa hotellia ole jos haluaa nauttia Baijerilaisesta maalaisidyllistä. Kirkon kello naapurissa kertoo aikaa ja herättää aamukuudelta pidemmällä kilkatuksella. Kohta toisen puolen naapuri viekin jo parvekkeen alta lehmiä laitumelle jahka ne ensin juovat hotellin edessä isosta puunrungosta tehdystä altaasta. Paljon kissoja pienessä kylässä ja pihoissa kaneja, ankkoja, hevosia jne. Lähellä. Myös leipomo ja turistikaupunki Garmisch-Partenkirchen on puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä täynnä palveluita. Maisemat toki erittäin upeat ja alppiset.
