The room was very plain there was no soap or shampoo available The shower door at the bottom needs to be clean better but other than that was an okay stay there was a funky odor in the room when we walked in almost like sewage okay

Very quiet, unique modern hotel layout. Rooms clean and modern. Close to Sarlat and historic district and therefore a good value if you are able to drive. Easy free parking.

Great value and easy access and excellent location
Posted 25 Jul 2018 on HotelsNice location just north of Sarlat on the main road heading in. The units are unique: about 6 rows of blocks of 5 attached, single level, very well built, solid units meaning no noisy neighbors. Nothing exceptional about the interior space: typically small (by US standards), efficient French-sized, with a very modern bathroom and decent internet. We didn't do breakfast. After hours arrivals find their room keys left at the bowling alley across the road. We appreciated that versus the more typical situation we've run into where a locked gate blocks the entrance to the facility and you have to hope to wake up the night attendant to be allowed access. One night we spent 45 minutes trying to do that.
Good base for Sarlat, Beynac Castle, canoeing on the Dordogne, visiting the caves. Just south but before Sarlat is a handy shopping center with cheap fuel and a full service and complete supermarket.

It was a budget hotel but was clean, wifi good and breakfast was good. Easy parking and not far from Sarlat and convenient for other local attractions.
