Could not have been happier with our hotel choice. Yes it’s up an incline, 7 minutes down, 15 back up but it’s worth it. Christina, the owner, could not have done any more, she is a fantastic tour guide and offered great recommendations on where to eat. Rooms are decent size and the pool are is great.

Wonderful French Experience
Posted 10 May 2023 on HotelsWhat a wonderful experience! The room was very European, not like a large room in an American chain hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was peaceful and surrounded by nature, but a short walk into the historic district. The walk is up and down a somewhat steep hill.
The highlight of our stay was our host, Christine, who was informative, kind, helpful, and full of energy. Since we don’t speak French, we appreciated Christine’s English skills in both speaking and understanding. We stayed three nights, but we wish it could have been longer!

Posted 22 Oct 2022 on HotelsUsed the hotel for an overnight stay en route to Spain. Will certainly be back for a longer visit. A lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, in beautiful surroundings. Christina made us feel very welcome. A great breakfast, complete with local produce and homemade walnut cake.

Great location for walking into sarlat, lovely secluded stone building surrounded by trees, very nice breakfast, clean, spacious comfortable room. I highly recommend.
