No self park. $45.00 a day valet only. $30.00 a day resort fee. I was able to park in a remote lot about a block away.

There was no soap to wash your hands. The toilet didn’t flush almost every day of our stay. We had to call maintence to bring a snake and then were told not to put any toilet paper because the pipes were old. Breakfast was not included and very expensive. There was a cold front when we came and it went below 55 degrees. The rooms were freezing and we didn’t know that we had to call to have maintenance flip a switch INSIDE of the vents to turn the heat on instead of just layering up and freezing each night. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property. Maybe for a quick last minute choice because rooms in the area are sold out but I’ve had a better stay at a Red Roof motel.

Have stayed a lot at this Hyatt over the years, is a very convenient location, has Nice views, close proximity to beach and shuttle service to St Armands circle etc. Rooms itself was very nice, as were the corridors and lobby. Valet parking was convenient. One small quirk was that housekeeping services were NOT available for either turndown OR to just get beds redone post 4pm, which is unusual for a "Regency" class Hyatt.

My husband paid extra for a high floor pool view room. He called in that morning and asked for early check in, which they granted so we headed there. Upon check in, they told us they couldn't get us a high floor for early check in, even though we paid extra for it. It was floor level 2. Because we were already there, we checked in. The hotel is very very dingy and dirty feeling. I couldn't believe we paid almost $250 for the night there - aside from the location, the hotel itself is so run down that I couldn't believe the cost. Not only that, but the room was filthy. There were hairs EVERYWHERE. In the shower, around the toilet, STUCK TO THE WALL, all around the bench under the bathroom sink. One of the bath towels had a disgusting poop streak stain on it; didn't even look washed. At about 8 pm, there was a loud rapping at my door. I had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed. The person kept knocking repeatedly and loudly until I was able to get to the door. I opened it and a cleaning lady thrust a garbage bag at me with something in it. I said, "no thank you?" as I wasn't sure what she was handing me. She said, "this is yours. You requested a blanket." I said "no, I didn't. Thank you." Then Front Desk called telling me I rejected the blanket I requested. I let them know I didn't request it. The only saving grace was having a balcony looking at the canal. That was pretty and nice to sit on. Not worth $250 and wouldn't stay again.
