The staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. The only bad experience was being on the phone for over 3 hours correcting their meds up!

We reserved a room for one night to stay close by a friend's 60th birthday party, with every intention of attending. We ended up being affected by hurricane Helene, a natural disaster, completely out of our control. We called Expedia and the hotel directly, but were denied cancelation with a refund. They offered us to reschedule for another day but required us to choose a date immediately or forfeit, in our post hurricane mindset we were unable to make that hasty decision, that was something they could have also been flexible with and allowed us time to decide and to get back to them about. The 60th party was the only reason to stay in a room off the interstate anyway. They kept our money, just despicable.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I understand how stressful the situation with the hurricane must have been, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience it caused. To clarify, you had booked a non-cancellable, non-refundable rate, but given the circumstances, we extended a credit that’s valid through the end of 2025, without requiring an immediate decision on a new date. I’m sorry this wasn’t the solution you were looking for. Unfortunately, during our call, you became quite upset and raised your voice, which made it difficult for us to address your concerns calmly. We always strive to treat our guests with respect and appreciate the same in return.
