Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience
I recently stayed at [solar de Boaventura ] and unfortunately had a very negative experience
was overcharged for my stay, and despite my attempts to resolve the issue, it seems that the staff was more focused on finding ways to charge extra rather than addressing my concerns.
There was only one staff member, Sara, who appeared to be listening to my issues, but the overall lack of friendliness and support from the rest of the team was disheartening. I ended up leaving a day early and had to pay for another hotel because I simply couldn’t stay any longer.
Additionally, the lack of convenient transportation options, such as taxis or Uber, made it even more challenging. To top it off, there was no water provided in the room, which is a basic expectation.
I was promised that I would receive a refund for the extra charge, but I have yet to see any follow-up on that. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I hope that my feedback will lead to improvements for future guests.

Beautiful spaces and location. The pool and spa are brand new. This hotel is like a museum but modern and fresh. The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner. The beds are a bit too firm for us though.

Very nice smaller hotel with good facilities. Pool and Jacuzzi are very nice. Sauna costs extra, which is not indicated at the time of the reservation, but worth it.
Room included an excellent continental breakfast and dinner was also very good. Would definitely recommend.
December is low season and it was quiet.

The staff were wonderful. The place is quiet and clean with great views all around and some good hikes near by if that's your thing.

Beautiful view gorgeous property staff at reception was hard to find sometimes and very few spoke English
