I liked this modern design hôtel facing a small flowery park. Very good welcome and service. Bar and restaurant pleasant. comfortable room. You can easily visit on foot around hotel.

Awesome reception
Posted 3 Aug 2019 on HotelsUpon check-in I was greeted by Sarina, who made my experience exceptional. She was polite, friendly and accommodating. She was nice enough to tell me about a local Jazz festival that was being held the night I checked in and helped me get tickets as well. Room is modern and sleek in its design. A/C works great, WiFi is fast, bed is comfy and the shower has great pressure and flow. You absolutely can’t go wrong with this hotel. It’s central to city and just blocks away from the beach. Bar is awesome, food is good. You don’t really have to leave. Again, a special thank you to Sarina for making this place even better!

A gem in the heart of Mindelo
Posted 19 Feb 2018 on HotelsA gem in the heart of Mindelo. The perfect boutique hotel! The decor is breathtaking, the staff are always readily available and so helpful. Clean, pristine, and modern. The bar/restaurant/lounge downstairs is a plus. Food is amazing, and the place is always full of hip, beautiful people. Prassa3 will always be my #1 choice when in Mindelo.

ONE OF THE WORST HOTELS IN THE WORLD

Cons: The staff, needs a customer service training course. And they'll DEFINITELY need to abandon that nonsensical "no guests in room" policy.
I've visited over 70 countries, and this was one of my more disappointing experiences. The hotel bills itself as 4-star and had displayed deceptively good customer reviews prior to my check-in. However, my experience in May 2017 was quite to the contrary.
First of all, the wifi is spotty and unreliable. And the TV was unwatchable as its signal went down every other minute. Their breakfast makes you violently ill. The rooms have thin walls... you can hear doors slamming and hallway conversation from different floors. The elevator is slow, and the narrow windy staircase is a bit dangerous to climb. The bathroom shower emitted brown water the first 60 seconds you turn it on -- every time. A/C wasn't working initially at check-in. Hotel employees (especially front desk supervisor, Ariana) were annoying, disrespectful and rude. She talked to me like I was her child!
And oh, by the way, they don't permit any guests in your room here, so if you checked in alone then you must remain alone in your cubbyhole at all times. And the vast army of bored staff all stare you down as you enter and leave this hotel to monitor your every movement.
Checking into Prassa 3 was a BIG REGRET for this particular world traveler.

Huge suite
Posted 16 Apr 2017Hotel is centrally located. Very close to marina. Our room was huge. Very comfortable bed. It had wifi throughout the property. Breakfast was very good. Hotel has a restaurant and bar on site. The room we had faces the square, hence a bit noisy.
We did not feel safe walking in Mindelo at night. Too many people out begging during the day and night. Hotel is in a good position with the marina close by and banks across the street where there are guards standing outside.

Boutique hotel close to city center and marina
Posted 11 Apr 2017Rooms are bright and very large. Beds are very comfortable. Hotel has wifi throughout property. The breakfast buffet was great. Hotel staff was helpful but not friendly.
Room was not very clean. There are stains on the bathroom walls. Water gets out of shower no matter how careful one is. Hotel layout is a bit strange. While there is a side entrance (exiting), all visitors (entering) go through the bar/restaurant on first floor, which is inconvenient going through the narrow corridor between dinning tables luggage while other guests are having their meals.
