The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I was able to explore the area easily and enjoy all that it had to offer. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I could need for a relaxing stay. But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable, from providing recommendations for things to do in the area to making sure that all of my needs were met.

Great place, perfect location
Overall, a great experience, as someone would expect from any Mercure hotel. The only downside was the kettle in the room. It wasn't working and they didn't fix it after I mentioned about the problem. The best part here is the location. You're a stone throw from Japan House, Itaú Cultural, SESC (all culture-based places). Paulista Avenue is the main road in the city, bringing together many shopping centres, cafés, department stores and the best connection via underground to most of the city centre.

I am sad to say that the Mercure Sao Paolo Grand Plaza Paulista is the worst hotel I have stayed in in decades. I booked a 4-star hotel but this hotel is no more than a 2-star hotel. The rooms are terrible.

No Internet these days!
The area is good! But overall, the hotel needs an urgent refurbish, the breakfast was bellow average (there was no butter first day), and the internet sucks! Never above 1Mb. If you need internet access, you´d better look for another hotel.

The hotel was right by paulista ave. We walked to it and then up and down paulista ave many times. Lots of little shops and food especially on sunday. The housekeeping staff was good. They were always cleaning and supplying towels. The front desk staff was great- we needed to change our room to fit 3 people a few days after we got there. Instead of having to check out and wait till 2 to check back in the girl just switched are room right then. Saved us a lot of stress and she didnt have to do it. The restraunt wasn't so good, maybe it was an off day

Fiquei 6 dias hospedada com a minha mãe. Experiência ruim. - Wifi: se você depende dele para trabalhar ou qualquer outra coisa, não fique neste hotel porque não funciona nem no celular, nem tv (smart), nem computador. Após contato com a recepção, a conexão permaneceu muito ruim. Não deveriam dizer que tem wifi nos anúncios se ele não funciona. - Serviço de quarto: a qualidade da comida deveria ser MUITO melhor pelo valor cobrado no menu. Sem contar a demora... pedi um café expresso que demorou 30 minutos, não veio e tive que cancelar. - Parte elétrica acredito ser antiga: tivemos um curto circuito na luminária do quarto que desligou a chave de quase todas as tomadas do quarto, ficou com cheiro de queimado no quarto... e esse curto circuito quase queimou meu computador. - Limpeza: deveria ser melhor.

Quarto com cheiro forte de madeira (apto 301), chuveiro muito ruim e ar condicionado deixa a desejar. Equipe de atendimento no período da manhã, são secos e não demonstram nenhum interesse em passar as informações do hotel. Estava no quarto às 08:30 e a equipe de manutenção tentou entrar por duas vezes.
