The Malecon is literally down the street. There were many restaurants around that served authentic Dominican cuisine. The casino is right next door if you're into gambling. The room I had was gorgeous, and my bed was very comfy. I am definitely staying again when I come back.

There is no elevator in the property. The room was in the 3rd floor. When I first checked in the room that was provided had a red underwear hanging in the room. The shower was broken. I was then moved to another room. The room was ok. The staff was understanding about my concern.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and always appreciate the quiet, dim ambiance. The beds are comfortable, and the tub is a nice touch. During my last stay, however, the housekeepers were cleaning the balcony at the end of the hallway outside my room, and water ended up on the floor, seeping into my room. It appears that this particular room is designed to allow the stream to flow in and drain into a small hole. Nothing will get damaged unless you place your bags or other items in that spot. This is the only room I've encountered with this issue. That said, I've noticed improvements with each visit, and overall, it's an excellent choice for the price in the area!
