54 STAIRS. It is on the "second" floor, no elevator, but it's not the second floor, it's the second hotel. After a long day of travel those stairs are a killer with suitcases. Their website does say no elevator, but it also says 2nd floor. Room was nice, big, a little tired looking, but clean. The shower door only opens about 12 inches so if you are overweight, no shower for you. Breakfast was a good continental spread, cappucinos were awesome. If you can avoid room 6, you should. It is between the top of the stairs and reception and right across from the kitchen, and therefore gets quite loud at times. Overall pleasant experience

Property very conveniently located near historic district-walkable distance. Safe neighborhood. Good breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. The building itself is in need of remodel.

liked central location. Parking was supposed to be available, but we never got the info. Really is a cheap facility. Works to stay for a night, but not much to write home about.

If you would like to experience Florence as a local, this hotel is perfect for it! Walking distance to the main piazza (Duomo and shopping) and many restaurants near by serving phenomenal food.

The apartment was not in the building announced. They sent us to another location. The outside looked terrible and the building in the inside too. It was very small. It was late and we didn't have a choice but to stay because it was not refundable.
