Reading some previous us reviews I am not sure what some people are expecting when they book an historic hotel?
This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that's how it was 500 years ago.
We were welcomed by Eva and shown where to park. All the staff could not have been more helpful.
It has a lovely little bar and serves a lovely breakfast.
The situation is right in the centre of the old town, which is wonderful to walk around after all the day visitors have left.
Our room had a delightful little balcony and was very comfortable with a huge comfy bed.
It is a little " noisy" creaky floorboards, water in pipes etc but that is the nature of this age of building.
It was perfectly quiet overnight.
We loved it and would certainly stay again. Thank you

Excellent location, great customer service, breakfast was excellent…there was a bad smell in the room, very noisy.

It is a historic building. The place inside is dark. Our room in the top floor left a lot to be desired: horrible carpet, fake wall paper that resembled wood. In a few words: not elegant. The staff was excellent, very helpful and courteous. The small garden in the back is ok. Will not repeat.
