You can never go with outstanding customer service from staff. The room can be improved like installing a lamp table. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
Awesome location! Very peaceful, romantic bay. Sunset is stunning. Morning view is equally magnificent, the water so calm you can see the reflection of the mountains and villas on the water - perfect for swimming with soft sand and few marine life. If not for the rooms and hallways, I'd have given this resort perfect rating.
Photos on the internet looked really good so I had high expectations. When I got to the resort, I was disappointed.
First, our room was at the north wing and we were led through a disorganized, foul-smelling area where they store towels, sheets, etc. to get to our room. Hallway looked like a public hospital, glass doors and green curtains. We saw some staff ironing sheets on the hallway. Really?
Second, the room: A/C was so loud that I couldn't hear the TV. The cable had a terrible signal. There is a balcony but the A/C was leaking so it's a slip hazard. The room layout was terrible; if you open one door of the cabinet you won't be able to see the TV. Sheets and towels had stains. In the bathroom, there was nothing to hang towels on except for a single small nail at the back of the door. Trip hazard from room to bathroom and from room to balcony. One of the room tiles was loose. The sockets were unfinished with just tape to prevent guests from being electrocuted.
On the other hand, the staff were also very accommodating, courteous, and tried their best to please guests.
