The facility is nice inside but the area around the hotel is really terrible. It took forever to get checked in and I tried calling many times with no one that ever answered. Service in Chile is horrible. Overpriced for the facilities.

Stayed here overnight for a long layover. Check in process was easy. There is a restaurant and mini snack bar on site. Super close to bus station. 15 minute car ride to airport. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable.

This iBis hotel is recommendable for two reasons: (1) it is 24-hour staffed; and (2) it is centrally located near all transportation points including long-distance bus centers and a metro station (which gives you access to downtown Santiago with just one metro ride. As such, if you happen to fly in to Santiago as a staging area for your next trip to Valparaiso to board your cruise ship, you are at the right spot. Most importantly, the hotel takes good care of your luggage storage needs with a on-site security guard.

Think before booking

Very close to estacion central, so we thought that would be ideal but we were warned by everyone who knows Chile to avoid the area, especially at night but also by day, as it can be very unsafe. We cancelled but couldn't get any refund or voucher for another Ibis so we booked another hotel near Las Leones, accessible easily with Uber and much more suitable for a family with a little one. Nothing is worth risking our belongings and safety.

We couldn't make it due to delays with our flight from Cuba to Panama and from Panama to Santiago. I sent an email to the hotel informing them about it. The hotel staff never returned with a response or contacted me again. We made it at the end by 5.30 am on the next day. Door and shutters were closed and nobody to contact . Very disappointed as I still got charged full price for something I never used with my family. Definitely,I won't recommend or use for future staying in Santiago. Ariel Funes arielfunes73@gmail.com

Buen dia,COmunicamos que su reserva fue cancelada en nuestro sistema, por lo cual no existe cargo realizado. Lamentablemente por horario las cortinas deben permanecer cerradas por precaucion, solo queda habilitada una pequeña puerta con citofono para quienes lleguen de noche o madrugada. Staff are very helpful even though they do not speak much English.
