My wife and I chose to stay overnight in Santiago as we headed to Patagonia. We are so, so, so happy that we chose to stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco. The staff treated us like we were 5 Star guests. They allowed us to check in early for a small fee. They also were able/willing to do a small cash exchange at the check in. The staff was great. They need all the praise they can get for being so hospitable. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was super clean. Loved the shower. The morning breakfast was excellent with many options. The location, for us who love to urban walk, was excellent. We were able to easily walk around town and feel safe while doing it. The taxi dropped us off and picked us up at the front door. The whole experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this stay for anyone staying in Santiago. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Santiago in the future. Awesome experience.

Excellent hotel! Pool and spa were wonderful! I got a massage while I was there and it was one of the best massages I’ve had. Hotel is very close to tour buses to go around Santiago. Great food within walking distance. Loved this hotel and I’d stay here again!

Clean property, walkable to major tourist sites. Excellent breakfast and hotel arranged for taxi transfer to the airport. There was also a shower and changing room available at the lower level for use prior to departure and they stored our luggage after checking out. Great transit stop while in Santiago, walking along the busy streets was great and get to experience the local flavor. Hotel has nice gym and spa that helped with post hiking in to the Torres Del Paine. Food at the bar lounge was great. Complimentary breakfast was good.
