Pleasant stay

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and everywhere was kept very clean. It would have been nice if food was served in the evenings, but overall very pleased with our choice and would stay here again.

Anniversary Trip
Posted 24 Jun 2024 on HotelsMe and wife came here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel is lovely and so is the area. It's very clean and the staff are really helpful. A big thank you to Laura who looked after us whilst we sat in the sun, bringing us drinks and snacks. A thank you to the reception staff for allowing us to keep our room longer as we had a late flight home. We loved our holiday and would recommend this hotel to everyone..

A gem in the north of Sardinia

Just spent a very nice week at La Funtana hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely powerful shower. Loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Location is a little out of town which means it is quiet but still easy walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants of Santa Teresa di Gallura and also to the port where you can take boat tours. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

Could not have asked for a better stay than we had at La Funtana and it was really made that way by the team there. Warm, kind, considerate and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you all for a great stay

Okay stay
Posted 22 Jul 2022 on HotelsThe hotel has a walking distance to the city centre, close to the supermarkets, restaurants and the beach (max 20mins walk).
The room is with a decent size, no tea/coffee machine in the room, nor a small table. Limited space to hang your clothes. Old mini-fridge, no complementary water.
Hotel offers light meal with additional pay; no option to have your own food on the table near the pool.
Kind of pricey for what is offered.

Dear Barbara, we are sorry to read this review, as you never reported any discomfort during your stay.
There is a desk in the room, kettle with tea and herbal tea is available in the superior rooms.
As for the tables by the pool, they are available for anyone, certainly not for those who bring their own food.
Honestly, I would never allow myself to sit in a restaurant and bring my own food, certainly those who read us will understand that this attitude is not appropriate in a hotel or restaurant.

Great family run hotel. Spacious family room. Amazing evening restaurant. Large pool area. 15 min walk to beach or 3 min drive. Recommended.
