Family friendly Hotels in Santa Maria la Carita, Campania

"Hotel is quite nice and modern and clean. It's in a more industrial area but close to the airport. I chose it because of 1) airport proximity; 2) airport shuttle; 3) parking - hard to find hotels with onsite parking in Naples. This gave us options to turn in our car early or not depending on how things went. Staff is very helpful - we had a car and chose the parkiing option. The valet service and staff were helpful with driving tips and information. Everyone spoke good English. There are several restaurants inside the atrium area but not really anything outside the hotel complex. We did not venture out. We spent 1 night before flying out the next day. We did the included breakfast and it was a buffet with many, many choices - breads, meats, fruit, eggs, espresso machines, tea, waters, and more."

"The hotel staff were quite exceptional. They were respectful, helpful, calm and charming. Breakfast and the pool were both highlights and the pool staff were most notable. The location is ideal, close enough to all you need yet peaceful. We would recommend this hotel highly. "

"The location is so very beautiful and so very dangerous!! Especially for those with a fear of heights. Arriving at this destination isn't for the faint of heart. It seems to be at the very tip of Almalfi; impossibly high up on a steep cliff. The gorgeous rooftop provides the most stunning views of the Almalfi Coast. In fact, I'd argue very few places offer such an exquisite view of the sea and cliffs of Almalfi. This hotel has breakfast daily and their fresh-baked croissants and cappuccino were honestly probably the best I've had in my travels so far. The older gentleman who runs the hotel is very efficient and kind, (even if initially intimidating). Just don't arrive to breakfast after 9:45 or make too much noise because it's frowned upon. Also, you can't bring food into the rooms, which is something to consider before staying, since it's a hike to town. (A dangerous hike down a dangerous road)."

"Excellent location, staff and cleanliness. Downside is the policy of not bringing any outside food or beverage onto the property, this includes bottled water. For the price of a 4 star hotel, I expect to be able to bring a bottle of water into my room without feeling like I am breaking the rules. Otherwise, excellent hotel. "

"The staff were phenomenal. Extremely welcoming and helpful from the second we got there. They provided recommendations for food, maps to help navigate the city. They really went above and beyond to even decorate our room as we were there staying for our honeymoon. We could not recommend this hotel more and we will be back. "
