Staff and food was great!

Nice hotel in a terrible location

Pros: The room was nice but the tile by the door of bathroom was loose and stepping on it released water. I had to avoid it all the time.
Cons: They need to maintain the bathrooms and work on the breakfast which is a joke.
No TV channel guide and whirlpool outside by the pool is not heated.
Location: If only Aladdin could remove the hotel from to a better neighbourhood...
I arrived late at night and they received me nicely and very welcoming.
The room was nice, bright and very clean.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing. I just had some fruit, since the eggs were like from a week ago and their juices clearly from a box or bottled.
The bellboy was super nice as well as the reception staff.
This place has potential but the location ruins it all together with the breakfast.
There is a sauna outside by the pool and next to the gym which was lovely and its possible to see the bottom of the pool. I am sure its nice during daytime but if you arrive tired after a busy day of meetings you just need to swim and rest at the jacuzzi but it's cold. So you are forced to use the sauna.
I wouldn't return to this hotel, since in downtown Santa Cruz I've seen better at the same price.

Pros: Very comfortable room with cold a/c and decent wifi in a quiet neighborhood.
The entire staff was excellent. Very attentive, helpful and friendly.
Cons: Location- it's a bit far from restaurants and the market but taxis are very affordable and readily available.
