Beautiful garden . Had both lounge and bedroom with own entrance to the property. Very secure . Great shower , hot with good pressure . Also had small kitchenette are with fridge .

Staying at Martirena's hostal was one of our best decisions in Cuba, the house is an oasis, the hosts are extremely welcoming and warm, friendly, helpful and discreet. You get your own private bedroom room, kitchen, bathroom and lovely porch, extremely nice breakfast with specialties that the hosts cook for them and guests, help to get a cheaper taxi from/to your destinations, advices/suggestions, flexible checking in/out and overall the experience that you are very very welcome! A no-brainer if you want to stay in Santa Clara.

Accueil très sympathique par ce couple, qui nous a aidé a appeler l'assistance quand nous avons eu des problèmes avec notre voiture de location. Logement très confortable. L'un des meilleurs petit déjeuner de notre séjour, servi dans le patio, fleuri. Logement bien propre, très bien situé pour visiter Santa Clara. La rue est petite mai il est tout de même possible de se garer dans l'hébergement. Il n'y a pas de coffre fort mais il y a toujours quelqu'un pas loin et le logement est parfaitement sûr pour laisser papiers et argent. Je recommande

Jedes Mal, wenn wir an Kuba denken, wird unsere Zeit dort das sein, an das wir uns als erstes Erinnern werden und was uns auch ewig in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Die Gastgeber waren einfach so unglaublich nett, freundlich, herzlich, zuvorkommend und absolut liebenswert! Die Mutter und Gastgeberin ist eine sehr herzliche Dame, welche einen in ihrem Haus wie Familie begrüßt. Leider konnte sie kein Englisch und wir nur gebrochen Spanisch, aber man konnte sich dennoch verständigen und notfalls hat ihr Sohn für uns übersetzt. Der Sohn ist ebenfalls super nett und da er ungefähr in unserem Alter ist, haben wir uns super verstanden und auch was zusammen unternommen. Alle haben uns diverse Tipps gegeben, was man sehen und machen kann und wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur das eine Zimmer an sich mit direktem Zugang zum Innenhof, sondern hat, neben dem Bad, auch noch eine Küche und ein eigenes Wohnzimmer mit separaten Eingang von der Straße aus. Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das Reichhaltigste mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Obst, Saft, Gemüse, Tee, Kaffee, Käse, Ei in diversen Varianten, ein Käsesandwich und Würstchen (was wir bis dato nirgends auf Kuba bekommen hatten). Es war so viel, dass man unmöglich alles schaffen konnte und unglaublich lecker. Der Preis war, bei der Menge und Qualität, mit 5€ p.P. absolut Topp. Man hatte bei dieser Unterkunft auch durchgängig gut funktionierendes, kostenloses WLAN. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen!
