Great for a chill out - but a bit remote.

Overall the Mercury Boutique Hotel was good. Its a quiet and stylish hotel, great if you want to relax and chill out. The food was tasty and the staff are very friendly. The only downside was the hotel being a bit remote.

Not Particularly 'Boutique'

Posted 3 Aug 2018
The hotel is in a quiet location with nice views, particularly at sunset. The room was compact, basic. It was comfortable enough but lacked the individual style and comfortable touches which usually differentiate a 'boutique hotel'. The reception area was well styled and comfortable to sit and read or have a drink. There are hardly any restaurants within walking distance so we tried the hotel restaurant. The service was very slow, despite there only being 5 tables of guests to serve. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the food was tasty enough.

Nice hotel overlooking the sea

Posted 7 Jun 2017
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere
Nice relaxing area, rooms were clean but not spacious. Hotel is close (500m) to a small beach with a great bar for local seafood and drinks after a day of sun. Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Only reasonable hotel in the area.

Sound proofing between rooms very poor. Hotel was very empty but we were put next door to people and we could hear everything!!

Comfortable friendly hotel

Posted 16 Sep 2016
Pros: Two excellent swimming pools. Room was cleaned every day and towels and linen changed daily. Staff were always available whenever needed.
Cons: Perhaps more written information about area and hotel facilities in room.
Location: Nearby Calasetta has a good beach and a good restaurant . Also Mario's beach restaurant at Cala Sapone is worth a visit for good food and music.
Very helpful staff especially the receptionist who helped us every day with translation and information. Also the young male waiter was always very cheerful and helpful at breakfast and dinner. The location is a little remote so a car is essential.

A great place to relax

Posted 8 Aug 2016
Pros: Second time we've been there. A bit busier than last year, but great place to chill.
Location: Some good beaches and excursions
A good place to get away from the crowds. Love the room with its own small garden
