Quiet stay
Posted 21 Jul 2023 on HotelsNice little three story hotel with large rooms, located in some orange groves in a residential neighborhood. Can't see it from the road. Buzz gate.Walk down a narrow gravel road to get to the main gate. Suitcases with wheels will sink into the gravel.Has a pool and continental breakfast is included. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some walking uphill in the road is required to get to the bus stop in the center of town. Three buses stop there so its convenient. Near train station. Bakery. Laundromat. Supermarket nearby. Very quiet at night.

AVOID THIS PLACE!
Posted 19 Jul 2023 on HotelsWhen we turned up, we thought okay, this will do. The location was alright, and the place looked nice. The room was spacious and cool, but that is as far as the compliments will go.
We were given a room with a broken door and then when we brought this to the attention of the staff, they tried to blame it on us! Very similar story to a previous review I have read, so it could have been that we were given this same room and they were trying to swindle more money out of new guests. We could not lock the door and the room was not secure. As two girls in their 20’s on holiday and on the ground floor, we did not feel safe for obvious reasons. We asked for a different room but apparently the place was fully booked (I think we saw about 4 other people the whole time we were there so not sure about that). We then asked for a refund to which their response was ‘not possible’. So so rude and unhelpful. Then when we went to check out, the two members of staff just stared at us and said ‘keys’, nothing else. Absolutely horrid place with awful staff.
Also, if you do book, apparently the green pool is normal??? Definitely is not normal for a swimming pool to be green!!
Wi-Fi did not work at all so I hope you have a good data plan.
Honestly, just pay a bit extra and go somewhere else. Absolutely shocking experience and we felt very uncomfortable the whole time we were there.

Viva le Villa Emanuel! Che bravo!
Posted 12 Sep 2022 on HotelsWe had a really good stay with you! Our room was as described and was very modern and contemporary looking in an impeccable state of repair. A small maintenance issue with the door was fixed immediately and the host was always on hand to solve any queries about taxis and showing me a map of the key points of interests in the vicinity. Overall, I would recommend this accommodation

For the room and service was overpriced compare to other hotels. It’s only worth the price if you like to stay in the property all day and use the private garden in front of your room.

Dear Nasrin, Thank you for your review, Your reviews help us to grow up. I'm sorry you think this but the price is high for the type of room you have chosen a 'Junior Suite with private patio' and for the period that you have chosen as we are in high season in Sorrento until September. Thank you again for choosing us Best Regards

The one staff that ran the hotel during the day was very helpful. But it was more like a Homeawayand the fact that after 4 no one was available for anything except by text
The hotel was far away from most restaurants in mass transportation. One had to go down a somewhat dangerous narrow street for several hundred yards to get the main street. Therefore I would not recommend this for a family for someone that wasn’t alert in fast moving traffic a narrow street with walkways are approximately 1 foot on either side
Breakfast was not that great and only served two hours a day. The person doing the breakfast was also doing all the cleaning so they were not responsive to any variation I would accommodate other schedule.

dear mr. Lendolthank you for your review, everything that is written helps us to grow as a structure. Our breakfast is a breakfast adapted to a b & b so there is a bit of everything, of course the structure is not a starred hotel so it is not due to offer rich breakfasts, it is a breakfast compared to the price of the room you pay. The breakfast time even if she goes to a hotel does not last more than 2 hours, besides you are always late in having breakfast obviously she did not find anything as everything was already finished. The street where we are is not dangerous at all and therefore not so what we are referring to, we are in a very quiet neighborhood and we are 5 minutes walk from the center and from Sant'Agnello station and 15 minutes walk from Sorrento. Oviously, as mentioned before, you booked a guest house not a hotel for this reason we did not have to offer the reception open 24h24 as the Italian law says, and the girl that worked in the reception was always available at any time after 18:00 in fact every time you called she has helped you. So long as we having few rooms inside the structure and being always a landlord the same person with the in-depth care of changing and washing also makes the rooms after the breakfast. We do this as we are a family-run villaThank you again for your review.

Great week in Sant'Agnello
Posted 29 Jun 2022 on HotelsThe hotel was in a lovely location down a private and secure gated driveway, and was a very quiet spot. The room was clean and the service, especially from the young lady in charge of the site, was very good. We had a problem with the safe on the first night that we were there (the previous occupants had locked it), but the problem was soon solved.
The range of items available for breakfast was somewhat limited, especially at the beginning of our stay (the site did not appear to be heavily occupied at that time), but things did improve a little as the week passed. That said, the range of options was limited to croissants, various cakes, some meusli and packets of biscuits, with some yoghurt on some days. Some days there were packets of preserves were available. Tea, coffee (of varying types) and fruit juice (between one and three flavours depending on the day) completed the offering. Some fruit, and bread and a toaster would have been appreciated, as would tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
As we had to leave early on our final morning the lady manager organised a packed breakfast for us (cake, biscuits and a packet drink), which was appreciated.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in what appeared to be a relatively recently renovated property, and for which we would have given the highest recommendation if not for the less than excellent breakfasts and absence of tea and coffee making facilities.
