I recently stayed at Hotel Club in Sorrento and had a deeply disappointing experience. I had chosen this hotel hoping for a clean and comfortable stay, but I unfortunately encountered bed bugs in my room. When I reported the issue to the front desk, I was moved to a second room, only to find that it too had bed bugs.
The building manager, Luigi, and I spent time searching for other available rooms, and after inspecting four different options, I reluctantly settled on a fifth room. Now, I’m left with bed bug bites all over my body, which has overshadowed my entire trip. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to the pest issues and overall lack of cleanliness.

If Hotels could review guests as guests review the hotels, you would be a 0/10. You arrived late and we checked you in your designated room, but that did not meet your expetations. We showed you different rooms (some of them being double or even quadruple, far beyond what you actually reserved). None of them you liked. At a certain point we were so frustrated that the manager offered you a refund if you just left the hotel. But you insisted on staying and decided to settle into the 5th room we showed you. Sidenote: how can you pretend a clean room if you don’t want housekeeping to clean it? Last but not least, you used the jacuzzi and did not pay for it. You said to our staff that the manager said it was free for the compensation, but it wasn’t true. Add insult to injury.Expect to be contacted by our lawyers, because this is pure defamation.Note for everyone reading, of course there were no bed bugs, in none of the rooms. Not to mention that to check the rooms she lifted all the beddings from the beds she saw leaving the rooms in a total mess. If you ever recieve a reservation from Canada under the name Lung Corina, do not accept it and put her on the blacklist (like we did). She is not a good guest.

WiFi was my biggest issue - properties speeds are dreadfully slow. Friendly staff but difficult to get a hold of someone as it’s a family operation that limits their abilities to man the front desk, bar, etc. clean rooms and comfortable enough, though I can understand others guests gripes.

Way too expensive for the experience. There are much better hotels nearby. Stay in Sorrento proper.
Pictures made the property seem way better than reality.
The rooms are terribly noisy without any sound dampening - you will hear talking in rooms beside you. Steps above you. Showers and toilette flushes.
The hotel isn’t in a great area, and a considerable walk to Sorrento. The only benefit to location is metro close by.

We’re located in the heart of Sant’Agnello, in the most central area of town. The bus stop is literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel and the train station is less than 5 minutes away. We’re close to the pharmacy and the supermarket, all kinds of shops and restaurants are nearby and the closest beach is 800 mt away. If you want to walk to Sorrento (instead of taking the train or going with the bus) it takes only 20 minutes, even less if you walk fast, because from the hotel to Sorrento’s center is all flat. Not a great are you say? Maybe you expected to be in the center of Sorreno? But if we were too expensive for you we don’t dare to imagine what could you have tought of the prices in Sorrento. You came in september, peak season for the area. That’s the reason the hotel was full and therfore we had more guests and had slightly more ambience sound than usual. Didn’t consider that? Oh and speaking about prices, you forgot to mention that you left the hotel without paying for the city tax, what a great way to leave an impression. If you want a quiter place to stay you should choose a hotel far from the center up the hills, how about the great area then?

Ok
Posted 24 Jun 2024 on HotelsOverall good stay. However I wouldn’t say it was a 4 star hotel more like a 3 star. Lovely staff. Beware this hotel is NOT a short walk to sorrento. I booked under the impression it was a 15/20 min walk to sorrento but I was mistaken to get to the main part of sorrento you are talking upward of 30-40mins at a decent pace. On the other hand Sant Agnello beach was nice. Breakfast could be better had scrambled eggs (good note) everything else lacked. Bed and pillow you could tell were old as you could feel lumps in pillow, bed was very firm. Bathroom was old fashioned + had an old fashion shower curtain which I didn’t like due to knowing that you can’t clean it therefore hygiene. Room had kettle no condiments, no complimentary water. Good A/C. Pool looked ok but may be shaded at different times of the day.
