"We had the most wonderful experience at this magical hotel. We’ve stayed in other hotels along the sorrentine peninsula and throughout Italy in the past, but Oasi Olimpia is easily the best. It is aptly named - it truly is an oasis. It’s in a beautiful spot with spectacular views. And the food is sumptuous. But what sets it apart is the kind, attentive and welcoming staff. They made our stay one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. "

"We rented the "deluxe apartment". Beautiful property. Very spacious with plenty of room to unpack and feel right at home. Cabinets, drawers, area to hang clothes, iron with ironing board set aside comfortably in a seating/desk area (bonus space). Nice outside seating area I enjoyed drinking morning coffee. Much more than I even realized when I made the booking. This is managed by the owners who are so nice and respond immediately to any concerns. They met us at the property, showed us around the unit, provided a map of the local area, suggested beautiful beaches and towns to visit, and answered any questions we had. They made the stay very comfortable and personal. Added bonus was I didn't even realize there was a washing machine and drying rack for use. This was great as we had arrived after already being 7 nights in Italy and really needed to do wash. The beds were comfortable and very nice shower. Really just such a clean and comfortable stay. The surrounding town also is quaint with very nice people everywhere. I really cannot say enough great things about the place and the host (owners). Wonderful stay and would highly recommend. "

"This property is dreamy! It is peaceful (a much needed break from the crowds), has a gorgeous view of the sea, and the staff are super helpful and kind. We ate at the restaurant the night of our arrival and had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was fresh and delicious. I wish we could have stayed here a few extra days to just relax!"

"This is a beautiful property located about 20 mins drive from Sorrento. We lived at their charming old Sorrentine villa, which is a short walk away from the main building. It is quiet , spacious and have balconies overlooking the town below and the bay . You can enjoy the view of Mt Vesuvius across the bay , from the rooftop too.. Every single person working at the hotel - the reception desk , restaurants , Giovanni - our pick up driver and the lady at the bar - every one greets you with a smile on their face. The deck behind the bar, is a great place to enjoy the view with a glass of Hetmitage Sunset. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel which takes you to Sorrento town , so you can do your shopping and come back in time to have your dinner . The village behind the hotel is about 10 mins walk, and has some great local restaurants. You must visit Lo Stuzzichino for its seafood pasta. Pizzeria Buenos Aires and Di Mimi also serves fantastic Italian food. The desert shop next to the village church is also a must visit. If I come back to Sorrento, I will definitely stay here again. "

"I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner. Nothing was too much and all of our needs anticipated. A visit is not complete without dinner in the on-site Don Alfonso 1890 restaurant. We enjoyed the traditional multi-course set menu. Even though we were stuffed we couldn't leave a bite it was so delicious. The freshest ingredients, presented like artwork. We savored every bite. The included breakfast each morning was also a highlight. Thank you to all of the incredible staff who made our stay so special and especially Olivia, Mario and Ernesto. We will definitely be back."
