Be careful of Italianway

On our 2nd and final night we returned at 22h30 to find a faulty door lock so could not enter the apartment. Tried calling agent but no answer just a message saying ti call a certain number. It was the same number so what was the point of that message! So had to find a hotel late at night and had only clothes we were stood up in. To be fair the agent saw our messages early next morning and showed us the lock was fine. It was not and it jammed again a little later after she had gone. So I took a video of the problem but they didn't want a copy. So we paid for a hotel ( 100+ € ) but Italianway refused to pay more than 66€. So through no fault of our own we were locked out and out of pocket by nearly 40€. Didn't ask for any more compensation for the inconvenience but they would not go above 66€. Interesting thing is that Hotels.com no longer have these apartment listed on their website. A coincidence? Result is a very unhappy customer who visits San Remo several times a year so they will lose our business. Plus we have several couples who live near Nice who wanted to come with us but they will now also not book with Italianway. A very short sighted company more interested in their own policy than in doing the right thing by their customers. Beware!!!

Very nice apartment and location. The wifi is however terrible and the apartment has no aircon.

It was a very nice stay. First time we stayed in an apartment instead of a hotel so had to get used to a few things but otherwise would stay here again.

Pretty get-away

Very nice apartment. Perfect location. Quiet and easy to go everywhere. They offered a parking garage for 15e/day. Gaia was a lovely lady as well. Very helpful and kind.

Good kitchen and dining area.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Parking should be made available for people with disabilities.
Wifi did not work. No air conditioning, only one small fan. Unable to park at the flat and had to walk up a steep hill after parking in local public car park.

Apparemment très sale tous les trois jours que j’ai resté j’ai trouvé personne à la réception Servilette de bain sale ya pas des coussins pour les enfants mêmes pas des lits pour les enfants juste un canapé lit je déconseille pas de petit déjeuner

Dear Guest, thanks for your kind review, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our apartment.It is NOT a Hotel or B&B, it is a Selfcatering Holiday Apartment, so we do not serve breakfast. We did not declare anywhere we provide breakfast. The same for reception, as is NOT a Hotel, but a Holyday Apartment there is not reception, We provided a sofa bed, we have baby crib availables, but you did not ask to prepare, usually guests ask to prepare it. Is important to control what you book, because we do NOT have Hotel services and Guests can not ask us to provide with Hotel Services.Best Regards

Vår upplevelse av Villa Mafalda Sanremo

Lägenheten var mycket fin och rymlig. Bra läge till strand och centrum. Dock var vi där under värmebölja och det saknas AC. Det stod fläktar på rummet som inte gjorde mycket för luften som vi upplevde stod still. Olidligt vissa nätter. Det fanns ingen personal där att få hjälp att exempelvis boka taxi. De kunde ingen engelska heller. Jag fick lämna nycklarna till städpersonalen vid avresa. När vi anlände kom ingen och öppnade grindarna så jag fick ringa flera nummer innan vi blev insläppta.
