The hotel looked beautiful. The dining and breakfast areas give nice ancient vibe. The area is very walkable. However, the beds creaked a lot and were not very comfortable

very cleaning room, friendly staff. enjoy the stay. shower could add a partition to prevent water spilled out.

Lovely place
Posted 23 Apr 2024 on HotelsIt is in perfect location next to Sandnes train station, good selection of food, historical hotel. Love it. This was my second visit in 4 months. Will visit again when I am in the area.

Stayed here 4 times now and will always be my choice of hotel when in the area.

It was ok 😊 good location in the middle of town. I was a bit surprised that the room was quite set back from the main Gamlaværket itself in a weird sort of corridor with a key attached to a huge Sandnes gauk rather then a key entry system using a card. Bathroom very small but very good shower - very clean
Bed extremely comfortable
No character to the room as such and didn’t feel it was part of Gamlaværket at all.
Breakfast was lovely and good selection, no complaints at all
Staff friendly but overall room felt like it wasn’t part of the main establishment
