The Farmhouse Hotel
Posted 22 Mar 2023 on HotelsMy husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. There are chickens, cats & a resident peacock named Pinot!! We are so grateful for this experience and have wonderful stories as a result of our stay.
The cons were that we don’t speak Italian & Rita had trouble understanding us at times. Her son was helpful with translation. Also, in our room, there was a deep bathtub with a broken drain that was difficult to get in and out of. Unfortunately, no shower. Overall the house is kept cool.

Beautiful traditional property providing spacious and very comfortable accommodation. Superb breakfast with delicious home baked products. Very kind and helpful hospitality, and excellent communication. The location is quiet, rural and peaceful, and the chickens and peacock were a delight to see. We would love to return.

Vi bodde två nätter på det här boendet, och det var genomgående en trevlig upplevelse. Rita som har hand om boendet är gästvänlig och trevlig.
