For those reading reviews. Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else.
We stayed for 4 nights. Had cold water for 3 days. No action to correct by management.
We checked in with no water in the resort.
Stayed in a backpacking style hotel on Caye Caulker that was better than this.
I travel for a living. Premium status with major hotel chains.
We have stayed at this property before. And been coming to Belize for 15 years.
It has gone down hill and will not return.
We checked in to the property with absolutely no water to the resort. Not able to flush or shower.
When the water did come on we had no hot water.
And did not have hot water for 3 days out of 4
We also had Multiple cockroaches!
We called it in and maintenance would come in and “fix” it. But as soon as we turn on…. Cold.
This went on for several days. No word from management to check on us.
It wasn’t until the 3rd day that the front desk (who was actually very professional and apologizing in this process) said the manager offered to move us to another room. The last night. After we showered. It was the last night there. We were to leave at 7am the next day. You waited till the last second to do something.
It was also through talking to the front seat that I found out it was a known problem that they were fully aware of. The circuit breaker would trip when the hot water was turned on. So they kept us in a room knowing there was an electrical fault.
Horrible experience!!!!!

The reef for snorkeling was accessible from the property with complimentary guide Jaffa the prophet. Reef was outstanding.

Our family of four stayed at Las Terrazas in a two-bedroom penthouse with. private pool. The layout is very spacious. The facility is very well kept and beautiful. The furniture in the room are bit outdated. The kitchen is equipped to prepare basic food. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is one restaurant with great selection. The beach is not swimmingly. The resort is in a great location; about 20 mins golf cart ride from town but plenty restaurants along the way. Also, 25 minutes to secret beach. A must visit!!! We would differently stay there again.

Beautiful beachfront hotel in San Pedro, Belize, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The property itself is stunning, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
One of the standout features of this hotel is the range of complimentary amenities they offer. We had access to kayaks, paddle boats, bikes, and even a volleyball court. The cabanas on the beach were a perfect spot for enjoying dinner or drinks while soaking in the relaxing atmosphere. The vibe of the entire place was incredibly tranquil, which was just what we wanted.
We stayed in a spacious three-bedroom suite with a breathtaking view of the beach. The suite was well-equipped with a dining room, full kitchen, living room, and two full bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer in the suite was a great convenience, especially for a longer stay.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The hotel has only one restaurant on the premises, and while the food was good, the menu was very limited and the prices were quite high. Additionally, the road leading to the hotel was in terrible condition, full of potholes, and when it rained, it turned into a muddy mess. The road seemed to be made of clay, making it difficult to navigate without getting your shoes or feet dirty when walking from the golf cart

My husband and I went for my birthday, along with 2 other couples. I loved the location.. 20 mins from downtown and 20 mins from secret beach! Perfect location. When we got to the resort, the walked us to a room.. that we didn’t reserve! 1 of the couples would have to sleep in bunk beds.. after waiting a hour, we were offered an “upgrade” to our room! After speaking to a manager we were upgraded.
We paid n rented a 6 seater golf cart.. the 1st one needed power stirring, it was a struggle to turn.. the 2nd one wouldn’t cut off! Parking, taking out the key, it still never stopped running. 3rd, it needed power stirring and kept backfiring!
The resort food was the worst of all places we’ve eaten at. Additionally, although it was 6 of us, 2 could eat breakfast free.
