Great location at ATV dock line 1 in Saint Marco. Everything is walkable within 1.5Km like good eats and shopping for souvenirs etc. The hotel is gothic with new amenities vanities, shower stalls, card access, etc. (except our rain shower didn’t work in room 204 and the glass doors leak). Otherwise, the canal view is just breathtaking but more beautiful in the evenings. Breakfast includes Venetian scrambled eggs. We will return in the future for sure.

Location, location, location…. Fantastic position on the Grand Canal with the waterbus stop right outside. Paid more for the balcony room facing the canal per the hotels website and was worth it. Hotel’s breakfast had less choice than you get at bigger hotels and the bar was very quiet…but we were ok with that…. Staff were lovely.

I liked that the property was on the Grand Canal. The staff were great! I wished the mini bar was more stocked as places to hang out and visit with a drink closed down earlier than I expected.

The reception staff is very friendly and they sit with you with a map and point out the good restaurants as well as places to visit. However be prepared as you will only get one small bottle of water per stay and if you call for them to provide you with ice they will charge you 10 Euros to bring it to your room. Additional water is also 5 Euros so you are better of walking around the corner and buy a big water bottle for .50 Euro.
