There were ants in the room and door lock did not work properly

Solid hotel. Rooms are impossibly small, though perhaps that's the case with most/all hotels in Florence. If you are claustrophobic, this may not be the best option for you; pay attention to listed square footage of room. The fact that there is a laundromat right next door is convenient!

The hotel was good, located in a quiet area and walkable to Florence center. The breakfast was good, the room was the smallest room I have ever been in, pretty much the size of the bed.
Overall, a viable option.

The hotel is clean and breakfast is decent. That’s about it. Rooms are the smallest that I have ever stayed in. We were 3 people in a room made for 1. No room for luggage. The water pressure in the shower was inexistant. The elevator was not working during our stay which was not ideal when we left with 5 luggages to transport down the stairs.

My husband and I stayed at Room Mate Luca for 2 nights and it was lovely. The breakfast included was a nice treat. I deducted a star because the shower situation was a bit odd as the water was leaking all over the bathroom floor but aside from that I’d recommend this hotel!

Not Hyatt Quality
Posted 22 Jul 2024 on HotelsTerrible service and poor attitude from staff. Locked out of our rooms due to key card issues and took extremely long to fix the issue. Fire alarms kept going off daily. Clean spacious rooms but that was the only good point. Not the type of stay expected from this calibre of hotel.
