My boyfriend is a heavy cigarette smoker. They accused him of smoking in our room when their valet and door staff clearly saw him leaving hotel multiple times per day to smoke. We didn’t even spend much time there as we were out doing tourist things! No doubt that all our belongings smell of smoke. He never smokes indoors even at home. We left our room very tidy on check out. They charged us $500 Cleaning fee!

The hotel is named something else but don't get confused as they are still re-branding. There is no construction ongoing as of Oct 2024 and the hotel property is really well done with great interiors and soothing calm ambience.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 days. The property is still under renovations however it was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were so unique and the Kumo rooftop restaurant has excellent food. When you walk out of the hotel, the beach is directly in front of you and they have people there that provide you towels, umbrella, chairs, etc. You’re within walking distance of a lot restaurants and shops on the strip. The only things we didn’t like was there was only one working elevator, the rooftop pool cleanliness was not up to par. Other than that the views, the vibes and the experience was overall top notch. I would recommend to a friend.

I stayed at this property for one night and let me just say, I did not want to leave. After viewing some of the other reviews, yes the building is still going through some remodeling and it is an older building. But PLEASE give it a try. I booked a room that had a beautiful ocean view with a small balcony, the room itself was very cute and clean. The staff was AMAZING and very attentive. The hotel is not necessarily a beach front, but the beach is right across the street, maybe 30 steps and you’re there. The hotel does provide beach lounge chairs, umbrella and towels, as well as a waiting staff taking your food or drink orders and bringing them to you. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I travel to San Juan.

Love this place..only need faster elevator. Only one working , and a microwave would be a plus … other than that ( minor things ) it was great.. will be back … service was A1. They have no handicapped ramp for people with need and even for carrying luge up or down the stairs to the entrance of the hotel. The employees didn’t offer to carry it up or down
