Was so nice ! only thing is i wish we had windows but that is coming from someone very privileged. bed was comfy staff was kind it was busy outside but it felt safe and secure!

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite for a night. Rooms and lobby were tastefully decorated. Had to leave at 2am so 24hr parking was a must. Walking to nearby parking building seems to be safe. Although it was next to busy streets, the room was surprisingly quiet. 24hr front desk is rare these days. I would choose hotels over Airbnb for any short stays (<3nts) for the reason.

We loved the location and the staff was great. Our only complaint is that some of the others staying there were loud, but that’s not Fortaleza’s fault. They were quick to take care of the issue.

Located in the heart of Old San Juan, walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping. It is clean, good air con and comfortable. The architecture is lovely and colonial, but the furniture and facilites need updating. Would be nice to have colonial style furniture or go modern, what is there now is unattractive, not what was expected having a “Wonderful” rating. The check-in and check-out was easy and friendly service.

The street outside is a little deceiving, but the inside is charming! It was weird that I could hear my neighbors shower and frustrating that I couldn’t turn up the volume on the TV, but the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and inviting. The staff was helpful and cordial. Overall, a good pic.

Great location if you are looking for a small hotel within walking distance of the old port cruise terminal.
Very small room with minimal amenities.
