The staff especially Juan Carlos from the breakfast dining area and Rosa from the 12th floor cleaning service were wonderful to us. They went above and beyond. Breakfast was legit Plato typico. This is our second time to the country and we will bookend our next trip with this hotel for sure as we look to explore the nature side of the country. Do yourself a favor and stay here for a few days and learn about the people before hitting the playa!

I was not informed that they are renovating the area around the pool and gym. Therefore the pool was closed and we couldn't use it. Furthermore the gym doors were removed and there was a lot of dust everywhere. If we would have known, we would have booked somewhere else. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the hotel is not located in the best area of town and is a short drive away from San Jose.

Hotel has everything you need and is clean and modern. Location is ok. It’s a 20 minute walk to downtown and not as much to eat around the area.
